Summarization of Content

Exhibition catalogue for the group show 'China Coup'  held at The Hospital gallery on 31 Jan - 24 Mar 2006,  and organised by the Red Mansion Foundation. The exhibition featured works by 7 Chinese artist whose works are figurative but do not portray literal reality. 

They originate from realism, develop their artistic language and expand their vision. They learn discuss, filter and develop new ideas. Based on the outcome they then create and sometimes renew, their creative output.These artists dare to face and question modernity, the most pressing issue in Chinese society.

The book also contains a flyer for 'The Tale of Angels' exhibition curated by Dr Jiang Jiehong, 2009.
