Collections

The esea contemporary Archive & Library holds the heritage collections which have been accumulated by the organisation since its creation.

Our main archive collection comprise the historical records of esea contemporary and it's predecessors dating from 1986. The mixed media collection traces the programme history of the organisation as well as our work as an agency for the promotion of East and South East Asia (ESEA) contemporary art and culture in the UK. We also hold some small archival collections which have been deposited with the organisation.

The library collection comprises a small but important collection of publications relating to ESEA contemporary art and contemporary art in general. The publications have been sourced from around the world and include exhibition programmes, artist's monographs, and festival publications.
