Scope and Content

Catalogue for Erika Tan's touring exhibition "PIDGIN Interrupted Transmission" funded by the National Touring Programme of Arts Council, England. Published in conjunction with its showcase at Norwich Gallery during November-December 2001.

Erika Tan's striking and intriguing installation highlights the ongoing significance of today's endlessly mutating linguistic hybrids and anticipates their increasing proliferation in today's media-satured, polyglot landscape. Her work explores how technology influences these linguistic changes.

The book was published with two diffferent covers.
