Exhibition catalogue for the group show: Variations of Ink: A Dialogue with Zhang Yanyuan held at Chambers Fine Art, New York in 2002. 

The five participating artists in the exhibition belonged  to the post-Cultural Revolution generation of experimental artists. Most of them had engaged in avant-garde experimentation since the 1980's, and all had experimented with ink-related images. The exhibition aimed to offer a glimpse into their wide ranging experiments.
