Summarization of Content

Exhibition catalogue for the solo exhibition of Luo Fahui : Rose held at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chengdu in 2002. The exhibition showcased the artists' large canvases of roses painted with a subdued palette.

"There is not much happiness in life, though pleasure does exist. Rose series is the expression of the stories around me in my life. I am experiencing the absurdity of living and the pleasure of being together. I try to turn these emotions into images and create the conceptual images of my own, so that people can have a rational understanding of the vigour of the man".
