Exhibition catalogue for group show Rupa Malaysia: A decade of art, 1987-1997 held at the Brunei Gallery, London in 1998. The show was organised by the National Art Gallery of Malaysia. 

The exhibition presented a retrospective look at the work of Malaysian artists in the previous decade. 

""Rupa" is form, image and identity. Despite the trend towards globalisation in all its forms, almost everywhere there is a countervailing movement to maintain and even strengthen national and regional identity. The visual arts represents one of the indices of such identity."
