Exhibition catalogue for the a performance event: Of Contradiction - Trace: Welsh Artists Residency Beijing, China, 2005 held at the Beijing New Art Projects, Beijing on 9th-11th September 2005. 

The project was a result of a collaborative exchange residency project arranged by TRACE, Shu Yang, and the Beijing New Art Project featuring artists from Wales and China who had been involved in exchange visits. TRACE selected Welsh artists to take part in the DaDao festival in 2004 and sent Chinese artists selected by Shu Yang to perform in the UK in Oct 2005 (). The catalogue contains contributions from Chinese artists, discussions, presentations of documentation, exhibition, installation, collective programming and production.
