Scope and Content

35mm colour slide which is thought to depict a performance/installation entitled Food for Thought by Julie Fu dating from Apr 1997. The image depicts a animal figure carved by the artist from food stuff in a plastic bag. The bag includes instructions for slaughtering a bird, possibly a chicken. Although the artist did have an exhibition at the Chinese Arts Centre at that time, it is not known if this performance took place in the organisation.
