History

Exhibition featuring over 80 kites from the Far East, which also showcased kite making materials used in China. Included weekend workshops on kite making and the history of kite making. Organised with help from Manchester Festival. The exhibition toured the UK between June 1991 and June 1992, including McManus Galleries, Dundee; Hove Museum & Art Gallery; Carnegie Theatre & Arts, Cumbria; Bersham Industrial Heritage Centre; DLI Museum and Art centre, Durham; Wansbeck District Council; and Cartwright Hall, Bradford.
