Exhibition catalogue for the group show Images of China by Hong Kong Photographers presented by the Hong Kong Arts Centre, 1984 Aug 8 -27.This exhibition presented images of China created by 14 professional and amateur photographers from Hong Kong. Their work often included subjects which mainland Chinese photographers would not have been able to capture. Many images in the exhibition were analytical and critical, and others could be regarded as highlights in the photographers' personal journals to China. One of the things they have in common is that all the photographers represent their makers' individual views on a country all of them are fascinated by.
