Exhibition catalogue published in conjunction with the ‘Downtown Production’ exhibition of Chinese urban art curated by Yan Lei held at the Red Mansion Foundation, London from 23rd September – 21st November 2008. 

The exhibition showcased the work of  nine Chinese artists, each of whom select a city as the inspiration of their work. The majority of the artists settle on Beijing, perhaps in light of the Olympics occurring that same year and the drastic transformations that Beijing underwent as a result.
