Summarization of Content

Catalogue of Kan Xuan's exhibition in Ikon Gallery, Birmingham in July - September 2016.

This was the first UK exhibition of work by Kan Xuan, comprimising a wide selection of video pieces made since the late 1990s. Refreshingly unpretentious and economical in style, with familiar subject matter, each exemplifies a distinctly philosophical approach to human experience, in attempts to "represent the state of our daily life, set against this crowded and noisy modern world."
