Summarization of Content

Exhibition catalogue published for the solo exhibition We Came Whirling Out of Nothingness'  by Charwei Tsai at the TKG, Taipei, 2014 Sep 13 - 2014 Oct 12.

We Came Whirling Out of Nothingness examines the ways in which human perception of time and space is dependant upon and parallels nature's underlying revolving and repeating spiral forms. The artist's works consider how these structures might inform us about natural occurances in our universe. Featuring the artist's research into Sufism as well as Buddhist traditions, the exhibition highlighted a transition in the artist's practice of applying Buddhist concept of emptiness and interdependence to a universal concern for the environment.
