My Paintings are Invisible by Philip Davenport is a poem sequence combining Chinese and Western alphabets dedicated to the Chinese poet Hai Zi (1965-1989). Both alphabets are entwined to make word pictures or 'Invisible Paintings' 

The poem was created during the Davenport's residency at ArtSpace 501 in Chongqing in 2009 which was sponsored by the Chinese Arts Centre.
