Scope and Content

Poems written by participants in a series of creative writing workshops lead by the Chinese Writing Liaison Officer in Liverpool Libraries. The workshops results from Chinese Identity workshops held in September 1991 who looked at  issues faced by members of the Chinese community in Britain, such as coping between two cultures and the emergence of a British Chinese culture. 

The publication of the book was supported by Toxteth Library service and the Chinese Arts Centre.
