"Guan Weixing excels at oil and watercolor paintings, and his works have been displayed at important exhibitions at home and abroad. In 1989, he held a one-person watercolor exhibit in Japan. In 1992, his watercolor painting, "First Snowfall", won the gold medal at a watercolor painting exhibition in the United States."
