Summarization of Content

Monograph by artist Li Tian Yuan presenting recent photographic works by the artist.

"Since graduating from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1988, Li Tianyuan has energetically devoted himself to the creation of oil paintings. This is very characteristic of the development of modern art in China, where oil painting is still an important and richly expressive contemporary medium, especially compared to the deeply traditional form of Chinese ink-and-wash painting."
