Scope and Content

It is regretted that so far Hong Kong has not yet established her own art academy. It is also sad to learn that the general public is still indifferent to local art. Though there is a recent bloom in the commercial galleries, local artists still cannot benefit from this newly created art market. Hong Kong art seems to have stepped into a new, or temporary transition period. The post colonial Hong Kong and the post colonial Hong Kong art should turn a new page.
