Monograph documenting  Liu Xiaodong's Hotan Project, a live painting project conducted by artist looking at the jade excavation workers and their families in Hotan, Xinjiang. The artist painted the people with the White Jade River in the background. The works were exhibited at the Xinjiang Art Center, Urumqi, (2012 Aug 25 -2012 Oct 08) and the Today Art Museum, Beijing, (2013 Jan 13 - 2013 Feb 23). The publication also features documentary interviews and proceedings of symposiums associated with the project.
