The Arts Council of England was a body responsible for arts promotion in England between 1994-2002. 

It was formed in 1994, as one of three regional bodies which replaced the Arts Council of Great Britain. It became responsible for allocating government funding to the arts in England and overseeing the English Regional Arts Boards (RABs) such as the North West Arts Board. 

In 2002, the Arts Council of England was merged with its RABs to form a single body, Arts Council, England.
