Daniel Brine is curator and arts director originally from from Australia. 

After training as a architect, he worked with the Visual Arts/Craft Unit of the Austrialian Council. After completing his MA in Arts Administration he worked as a curator on various project including projects at the Tamworth
City Gallery and the Centre for Contemporary Craft. From 1996-2001 he was the Combined Arts Officer and later the Visual Arts Officer: live arts at the Arts Council, England. In 2001 he became the Associate Director
of the Live Arts Development Agency. He he worked with Lois Keidan on various live art projects, including the National Review of Live Art, Live Culture at the Tate Moden, and the live art tour, 'China Live'. In 2009 he became the Artistic Director and CEO of Performance Space in Sydney (Australia). From 2012-2018 he was the Director of Cambridge Junction, before beoming the Festival Director of the Norfolk and Norwich Festival in 2018. 

The 'China Live' touring show was exhibited at the Centre in 2005. Daniel was also a talent scout on the Centre's Professional Artists Development (PAD) scheme.
