The AAA also organises programmes and projects associated with Asian contemporary art . In 2007, the AAA launched its artist in residence programme to encourage new interpretation of materia in the archive, offer artist the opportunity to work with material outside their usual work, and to support projects around the idea of the ‘archive’.
