Biography

Beijing Tokyo Art Projects (BTAP) is an experimental art centre in Dashanzi, Beijing, China.

It was opened in 2002 in an old East German built munitions factory by Tabata Yukihito and Tokyo Gallery. It mission was to promote cultral exchange across Asia and build a cross cultural bridge between Japan and China. BTAP's first director was Tabata Yukihito. BTAP focused on young promising Asian artists with exhibitions, research projects, lectures, seminars and ideas exchange.
