Scope and Content

Images of a durational performance by Marcus Young during the Vital 07 festival at the Chinese Arts Centre. Created by photographer James Champion.

Record Resource Extent

1 CD (9.5 MB, 2 digital files)

This CD was formerly held in a box with other live art materials which was formerly stored in the CFCCA library and was classified as part of the programme archive (ACC/2017/4).

The images produced during the Vital festival by James Champion were created using two separate cameras: a NIKON D2X and a Nikon D70. It appears that the time D2X was set +6 hours after the time on the D70. As a result the creation date of the originally digital files produced by the D2X are not set at the correct time. Is is thought the images of this CD were actually created at approximately 17:51 on 2007 Nov 21.

The CD also contained a second folder containing a selection of images created by the photographer during the festival. These files were not processed as they duplicates of files held elsewhere in the collection.
