Summarization of Content

Catalogue of works by Chow Chun-Fai, published to accompanies his solo exhibition Not-Fine-Arts: New Works by Chow Chun Fai at Hanart TZ Gallery in July 2009.

Chow mainly works with two forms of art: photograph installation, and quotation (in painting and video) of scenes from popular cinema. He perceives images as a form of "text" which may be appropriated, real and interpreted. His works consist of re-making these texts, parodying famous works by inserting his own photo-portraits into the original artwork.
