Exhibition catalogue for a touring exhibition providing a retrospective look at the work of landscape painter Hong Ling, organised by SOAS. The exhibition was held at Brunei Gallery, London (2016 Jul 14 - 2016 Sep 24); Chester Beatty Library, Dublin, (2016 Oct 21 - 2017 Jan 29); and The Museum of East Asian Art, Bath, (2017 Feb 25 -2017 Jul 02). 

The exhibition showed the development of Hong Ling's artistic path and vision, the changing situation in which the artist has worked and the social, political and economic changes that have taken place in China since the end of the Cultural Revolution.
