Scope and Content

The motivation for "Journeys West" was the recognition that there is an important and growing group of artists in the UK whose roots are based in Chinese culture. It was a joint initiative of the Arts Project at Lambeth Chinese Community Assocation (LCCA) and the University of Essex Gallery. The exhibtion toured to Chinese Art Centre, British Council Antrim, Manchester; Univeraity of Essex Gallery and Firstsite Colchester.
