Scope and Content

Leaflet promoting a touring exhibition 'Ahead of the Curve: new china from China' featuring the work from contemporary ceramic and glass studios in China. The exhibition was shown at The Wilson, Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum (11 Oct -30 Nov 2014); Bristol Museum & Art Gallery (13 Dec 2014-1 Mar 2015); The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery, Stoke-on-Trent (14 Mar -31 May 2015)

The exhibition showcased the work of fifteen Chinese artists working in ceramics and five artists working in glass. Their work ranges from finely crafted functional wares to sculpture and conceptual art. For the majority of the artists, this is the first time their work has been shown in the UK.
