Scope and Content

The catalogue was made on the occasion of the touring exhibition 'Korean Eye - Moon Generation' organised by Korean Eye and held at Philips de Pury & Comany Space at the Saatchi Gallery, London, (20 Jun- 5 Jul 2000) and the Standard Chartered First Bank, Seoul City, Korea, (18 - 23 May 2009).

The exhibition was to provide a snapshot of what was going on in contemporary art in Korea. It included a wide spectrum of Korean contemporary art, from emerging to established artists. Some of the works are based on autobiographical narratives, while others are critiques of social problems.
