Summarization of Content

Exhibition catalogue for the solo show Wonderful by Yao Jui-Chung at the IT Park Gallery & Photo Studio, Taipei, Taiwan in 2007.

The work was developed during the artist's residency in the Scottish Highlands as part of the Glenfiddich Artists in Residence programme. Leaving his hectic life in Taipei behind, he spent three months in Scotland, interacting with other artists and reflecting on the landscape around him. Yao himself was surprised by how his work subconsciously combined the Chinese world of painting and Scottish patterns.
