Scope and Content

Exhibition catalogue for the international touring exhibiton Both sides now II: It was the Best of times, it was the worst of times? organised by Videoclub and Videotage. The exhibition was curated by Jamie Wyld and Isaac Leung.

The work was the second phase of a project that proposed re-reading of artists' moving image work produced by artists in Hong Kong, China and the UK between 1989-2014. The tour aimed to review the works to reinterpret their experiences of here and now.  15 art organisations in the UK, China & Hong Kong took part in various extensive screenings, exhibitions and artist-in-residence programmes.
