Summarization of Content

Exhibition catalogue for the group show: Shift:  Exhibition on Young American Artists Creating On-Site Artwork in China held at the Guangdong Times Museum between 2011 Jul 16 - 2011 Aug 28. Curated by Ruijun Shen.

"Shift is the first exhibition organized by our in-house curator since the Guangdong Times Museum was founded over six months ago. The exhibition brought a group of New York-based artists to Guangzhou, in an effort to open up new possibilities of making exhibition by bringing together the Chinese and US art scenes. Shift differs from standard exhibitions in its emphasis on both the process of art creation and the presentation of art."
