Summarization of Content

Exhibition catalogue for the group show: Horizon Realm: Contemporary Art from Taiwan which was a collaboration between the Ministry of Culture, Taiwan, Taipei Cultural Center (New York), Taiwan Academy (Houston), and Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts (Taipei). The exhibition toured various sites in the USA in 2013, including the Tenri Cultural Institute in New York.

The show was an attempt to showcase the work of Taiwanese artists in multiple medias. Each artwork presented issues in current Taiwanese society, such as politics and gender, to stimulate conversation between the two regions. The show aimed to promote a mutual understanding between the two cultures as well as help shape the  “fusion of horizon” from different ends.
