Exhibition catalogue for the touring exhibition: Portraits, Figures, Couples, Groups from the Collection of the Modern Chinese Art Foundation, which featured featuring a selection of works from the Modern Chinese Art Foundation (MCAF) collection. The exhibition was initially held at the Shanghai Biennale in Shanghai in 2000, before travelling to sites in Belgium in 2001. 

The exhibition emphasized the importance and the role of the individual and the group in all their aspects; its importance in modern Chinese society and hence in modern Chinese art.
