Corporate Body
Biography
ArtSway was a contemporary art gallery in the New Forest in Sway opened in 1997. The galelry was designed to be a place to see, discuss, make and engage with internationally significant contemporary visual art. The purpose built gallery space hosted a changing programme of exhibitions and wide ranging creative opportunities for audiences.

The Gallery closed on 31 July 2012, after they had failed to secure funding from the Arts Council, England as an non-portfolio organisation.

Following a merger with the ArtSway charitable Trust, SPUD has taken over responsibility for the former ArtSway building to create ‘spudWORKS’.
