BiographyChang Chung Yi is a Taiwanese artist born in 1975. Her work include video installation and curatorial projects. She studied at the Ecole Régionale des Beaux Arts de Rouen and finished her doctorate from Arts plastiques & sciences de l'art at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. She has won the CCA and Ministry of Culture’s Artist-in-residence Exchange Programme, travelled to ISCP in New York and the 18th Street Arts Centre in Los Angeles for Artist-in-residence.
She has also held several exhibitions in galleries, museums and art centres in France, and was invited to New York for exhibition.
The most recent focus of her works are life experiences in childhood, trying to rediscover things that were lost in ‘toy or object’ and ‘game or event’, bringing out the persistent eternity in this ever changing world.
