BiographyChang Huei Ming is a Taiwanese artist and currently lives and works in Taipei. He focuses on the aesthetics of modern image and body perception. He specialises in new media art, kinetic and space installation art, and also stretches across theatre stage design and multimedia design. He studied at the Taipei National University of the Arts. In 2006, he entered the Graduate School of Art and Technology (now known as the Department of New Media Art) to continue his studies. In 2010, he completed his Master’s degree.
His work is being featured in the collection at the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts and the IT Park. He received his first prize in Taipei Arts Award (2009) in which is considered the most prestigious award for Taiwanese young artists. Furthermore, his works was awarded first prize in the Taipei Digital Art Award (Audio-Visual Category, 2010), Jury Selections of Japan Media Art Festival (2011), silver medal award in New Media Art Division of ROC National Art Exhibition (2012), gold medal award in Taipei Digital Art Awards (2013). Recently, he has also been invited to showcase his works in various places including China, Korea, Hong Kong and England.
