BiographyBorn in Malaysia, Sanderson graduated with a BA (Hons) Fine Art: Painting & Printmaking from Sheffield Polytechnic (now Sheffield Hallam University). Sanderson's early works were of self-portraiture, exploring her own identity of Chinese and British heritage, but later moved on to work with mixed media, again, with identity as a central theme.
In the 1990's Sanderson started collaborating wtih Neil Conroy, under the name Conroy/Sanderson. They exhibited at the Centre twice, a solo exhibition 'Out of Nowhere' in 2006 and the collaborative exhibition 'Negotiable Values' in 2010.
