Biography
Artist and lecturer, studied MA in Fine Art at Birmingham Institute of Art and Design, 1998 and achieved his Phd in 2002. Founder and Director of the Centre for Chinese Visual Arts (CCVA) from 2007. Professor of Chinese Art at Birmingham City University. 

Create an installation 'The Red March' at the Chinese Arts Centre in May 2002 as part of the Centre's 'New Comissions' scheme.  He also curated the 'Collective Identity' touring exhibition organised by the Centre in 2007.
