Biography
Henshaw’s Society for Blind People (founded in 1837), by Oldham businessman Thomas Henshaw, is a specialist charity providing support, advice and training to anyone affected by sight loss and other disabilities.

The charity has been involved in two projects associated with the Centre, a display of works produced by a ceramic workshop with artist Christine Lee in 1994; and Eric Fong's exhibition 'Seeing Beyond' in 2009.
