BiographyChang En Maan is a Taiwanese artist who was born in 1967. She holds a BFA in the Department of Fine Arts (Mixed Media) at the National Taiwan University of Arts and MFA in progress in the Graduate School of Plastic Arts at the same University. In 2017, she completed a doctoral programmes in Art Creation and Theory at the Tainan National University of the Arts. While her work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions around the world, she also had her residencies at several tribes, school and galleries including the fifth Taitung Rail-Road Artists Village (2007), Siluo Township old street (2012), Muong’s village (2014), Hoping Elementary School (2014) and the Fogstand Gallery & Studio.
She became a member of the Open Contemporary Art Centre from 2008-2012 and appointed as the director of the same centre during the time period from September 2010 – June 2011. She also curated a number of exhibitions within Taiwan since 2007. Her work is being displayed in the collection at the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts in 2018.
